Honoring Janie’s Memory: The Story of Janie’s Summer Sausage

Janie’s Summer Sausage is a family-owned company started in 2012. The company’s namesake, Janie succumbed to cancer in 2010. As a way to honor her memory, her family began manufacturing her summer sausage recipe. Proceeds from every purchase help fund cancer research. They wanted a brand that reflected this giving spirit.

Trifecta! designed a logo that embodies the memory of Janie – her love of horses and the bluegrass – and punctuates the family’s desire to promote cancer awareness. Other marketing materials – from the website to other print collateral – promote not only the brand’s higher purpose, but also underscore its delicious product.
